This project is a packaging collection for the Japanese dollar store, Daiso Japan.
The products displayed are a soy sauce container, silicone rice ball packer, paper lantern and a shopping bag. The patterns and colors are inspired from traditional Japanese overprinting methods commonly found on currency. This alludes to Japanese culture and affordability of their products.
Each hand drawn character is specific to each product which brings elements of light heartedness, fun and surprise which is essential to the Daiso Japan brand.
